This site: a portfolio built with the same craft it sells, with an AI bot and four live tools.
Overview
The problem, and how I solved it.
The challenge
A portfolio has to prove the work rather than describe it. If I sell motion, AI products and fast sites, the site itself has to be all three, on a phone as well as a big screen.
The approach
A pencil and paper visual language: hand-drawn hatch bands, a sketched wordmark and a paper grain, all static so they cost nothing while scrolling.
Enn, the AI bot, answers questions about my work from the site's own content and can turn a chat into a project brief that lands in the contact form. The Lab has three more live tools: a brief builder, a scroll playground and a palette generator.
Motion is planned for performance from the start: transforms and opacity only, no layout shift, and a still version for people who turn motion off.
